Dear friends and colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that we announce the upcoming 6th ICOSPI, 8th BATIK and WFP Symposium and Workshop 2027, proudly organized by the Division of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, under the coordination of PP PDSKJI and in collaboration with the World Federation for Psychotherapy. This prestigious event will take place from July 15th to July 17th 2027 at Nusa Dua Convention Center.
Under the theme, “Reimagining Global Mental Health: Integrating Culture, Spirituality, and Psychotherapy,” this symposium and workshop reaffirm our shared commitment to advancing mental health care through scientific excellence, cultural sensitivity, and meaningful international collaboration. The meeting will provide an inspiring forum for clinicians, researchers, educators, psychiatrists, and policymakers to exchange ideas, present innovative findings, and explore approaches that integrate diverse cultural and spiritual perspectives into contemporary psychiatric practice.
As mental health challenges continue to evolve across societies, there is an increasing need to embrace holistic and person-centered approaches that honor local wisdom, human values, and evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions. Through interdisciplinary dialogue and global partnerships, we aim to foster new insights that will enrich both clinical practice and academic scholarship while strengthening the future of mental health services worldwide.
We warmly invite mental health professionals from Indonesia and around the globe to join this remarkable gathering in Bali. Together, let us build bridges across cultures, deepen our understanding of the human experience, and reaffirm our collective dedication to promoting mental well-being, resilience, and compassionate care. We look forward to welcoming you to our island, where the spirit of collaboration and the richness of Balinese culture will inspire fruitful discussions and enduring friendships.
Warm regards,
dr. Ni Ketut Sri Diniari, Sp.K.J., Subsp. Ger.(K)
